Collins KWM-2A
Like most of my boatanchors, this KWM-2A had problems when I got it. The first thing I noticed was that no crystals were installed. The second thing I noticed, when I applied power, was a number of tubes with burned out filaments. Hmm..., could there be a connection here with the scorch marks at the power connector? After obtaining a crystal pack and replacement tubes, the KWM-2A worked, although it was still necessary to fix some "minor" problems, including cleaning all the variable trim caps.
